The Brady Bunch is known for being a popular family TV show, but one of its actors recently revealed some behind-the-scenes insights that may change your view of the series.
Fans may find it hard to believe that it’s been 55 years since The Brady Bunch first aired in 1969.
The series focused on a big blended family, but actor Barry Williams, who played the oldest son Greg Brady, has revealed that while the cast might have looked like classic siblings on-screen, it wasn’t exactly the way it seemed once the cameras stopped filming.

Williams claimed that there was actually romance involved between some of the on-screen siblings, telling US Weekly: “We all hooked up with each other at some point."
Williams went on to be more specific about the various cast members, saying: “I dated Maureen [McCormick], and Chris [Knight] dated Eve [Plum] and Michael [Lookinland] and Susan [Olsen] had a little mock wedding at one point.
“So, yes, we all hooked up.”

In her own recent US Weekly interview, McCormick chose not to detail much and instead chose to celebrate the friendships born from the show: “The show will just always hold a super warm spot in my heart.”
She continued: “It’s just an amazing bond, so I feel very lucky to have that.”
However, in her 2008 memoir, Here’s the Story: Surviving Marcia Brady and Finding My Voice, the actress did recall a romance between her and Williams.

Recalling a Hawaii trip with all the cast as they filmed the first episode of season four of the popular TV show, she wrote: “As soon as I stepped off the plane, I started to think about him more intensely in the way I had fantasized for a long time.
“We had spent the past three and a half years staving off the desire of a mutual attraction despite the intimacy of working closely with each other every day.”
Reactions to this news from fans have been shared on a Reddit post, with some being unsurprised to learn that the actors who played brothers and sisters were actually much more.
One user said: "No new revelation here. Barry and Maureen dated for a while, and Eve and Chris probably had more of a fling-type deal. The two youngest kids Mike Lookinland and Susan Olsen practice-kissed in Tiger’s dog house around the start of the show.

"There’s a lot of doubt as to whether Barry and Florence had a real kiss after their one dinner together. From what I remember, Florence was adamant that she kissed his cheek only.”
