Family Feud contestant Timothy Bliefnick gave a shocking answer about his wife before he was later convicted of her murder.
In an episode of the daytime game show which aired in January 2020, a contestant took to the podium in front of host Steve Harvey to compete for a prize or two.

While the show has frequently gone viral for a variety of insulting or 'censored' moments, Bliefnick's response to one of Harvey's questions is particularly chilling given he was later sentenced to life in prison in relation to the killing of his wife.
Prepare to feel goosebumps on your arms:
When Bliefnick appeared on the show, Harvey asked the question: "What's the biggest mistake you made at your wedding?"

After Bliefnick's fellow contestants give their answers, Harvey turned to Bliefnick, who said: "Honey, I love you, but 'Said I do'."
The answer received a widespread groan from the audience before Bliefnick added, "Not my mistake, not my mistake – I love my wife."
Just three years later, Bliefnick's wife and the mother of his three children, Rebecca Postle Bliefnick, was killed during a home invasion.

Bliefnick was arrested in March 2023 on charges of home invasion and first-degree murder and his trial in May saw him found guilty and sentenced to life behind bars.
Prosecutors said Bliefnick used Google to research how to murder his estranged wife, including how to force open a window with a crowbar and how quickly police typically respond to a callout for such a crime.
As he sentenced the convicted killer, Judge Robert Adrian said, as per Fox News: "Mr. Bliefnick, you researched this murder. You planned this murder. You practiced this murder. You broke into her house, and you shot her one, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight, nine, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14 times.
"I don’t know how long it took you to do that, but some of those shots were fired while she was lying on the ground and you did all of that while your children were upstairs at your house, lying snug in their beds."

The victim was found dead by her father, William Postle, on the bathroom floor in her home in Quincy, Illinois, a small city close to the Missouri state line.
The former couple - who wed in 2009 - were in the process of getting a divorce, court records show.
Rebecca, who worked as a nurse, filed for an order of protection from her husband in 2021, according to additional papers filed in Adams County.

Bliefnick later reflected on the comment he made on Family Feud on an episode of CBS' 48 Hours.
While maintaining he 'did not murder' his wife, he said: "It wasn’t said with any malice or bad intentions. It was supposed to be funny."
