Hugh Jackman's estranged wife, Deborra-Lee Furness, has seemingly responded to speculation he had an affair.
The pair had been married for 27 years when they announced their separation in September 2023, citing that they wanted to pursue 'individual growth'.
In a shared with People, Jackman, 56, and Furness, 68, said: "We have been blessed to share almost 3 decades together as husband and wife in a wonderful, loving marriage. Our journey now is shifting and we have decided to separate to pursue our individual growth.

"Our family has been and always will be our highest priority. We undertake this next chapter with gratitude, love, and kindness. We greatly appreciate your understanding in respecting our privacy as our family navigates this transition in all of our lives."
They concluded: "This is the sole statement either of us will make."
Speculation has mounted over the last few months that Jackman had allegedly started a romance with Broadway actor Sutton Foster, 49.

They reportedly met while starring together in The Music Man musical.
And now, Furness has seemingly reacted to the news of the alleged relationship.
Furness 'liked' an Instagram post that suggested Jackman had apparently 'blindsided' her by detailing his relationship with Foster.
Amanda de Cadenet, a British media personality, also weighed in on the debate as she penned in a comment last month: "You are on point with this one. My beloved friend Deb is about to have her glow up any moment fyi!"

Meanwhile, an insider told US Weekly: "Sutton and Hugh’s relationship is the reason Hugh and Deb got divorced.
"A lot of people on Broadway knew, and we kept it quiet because both of them are so nice and great people. Everyone respected their privacy. But there was an affair and overlap."
A source also told the Daily Mail: "Deborra-Lee had her suspicions when Hugh started working with Sutton. Their relationship is not a secret to her."

Jackman had previously said how he knew Furness was the one for him just a couple of weeks after the pair first met.
In 2017, he told People magazine: "Deb, she was a big star… I get picked up, and Deb is in the front seat of the car. I’ll never forget. She took off her seatbelt, and she turned around and put out her hand and took off her sunglasses and said, 'Hi, I’m Deborra-lee Furness, nice to meet you.' I remember thinking, 'I like this girl.'"
UNILAD has contacted representatives for Hugh Jackman, Deborra-lee Furness and Sutton Foster for comment.
