The Guardian’s Leila Latif gave the show a perfect five stars, saying it was ‘far and away the best superhero show on TV’.
While the finale has been widely agreed to have been amazing there was one common complaint – that fans will now have to wait for season three.

Keaton, who voiced Peter Parker in cult classic The Spectacular Spider-man, was announced to have a role in Invincible season two leading fans to speculate as to what it could be.
One scene in the comics sees Invincible thrown into another dimension where he interacts with Marvel’s comic Spider-man – however all agreed this would not be possible in an Amazon show… right…?
Well unfortunately, they were correct – but we got the next best thing as Keaton voices a version of the character just different enough to get away with it.

One fan posted on X saying: “You know, this bit here from the scene could easily be reanimated to actually be Spider-Man since nothing in the dialogue contradicts that idea.
“Plus Josh Keaton is still a perfect Spider-Man all these years later and everything.”
If you haven’t watched it yet – rectify that.
