It’s a normal thought to wonder if actors get aroused when filming steamy scenes, but nobody ever comes out to tell the answer - until now.
You might know Kate Hudson from gems like How To Lose A Guy In 10 Days, and Bride Wars and the actress is no stranger to a steamy sex scene.
Opening up to none other than British rapper, Stormzy, who asked Kate Hudson if actors ever get aroused during sex scenes - and the answer is perfect.

The pair made an appearance on the Jonathan Ross Show, where Stormzy opened up about having to film a sex scene for the video for his track 'Hide & Seek'.
He said: "Me and the team said it needs to be a high standard actor. I’m a rubbish actor.
"The idea of me going on set with someone that’s awkward and I’m awkward... We got Saffron [Hocking] in and she’s a true professional. She made me really comfortable and led the whole thing."

Stormzy then turned to Hudson and asked unprompted: “When I see sex scenes I’m like, ‘How do you lot do that?’ Of course it’s your job but… as your average punter, it looks extremely difficult. Can there be… arousal… everyone’s thought it!”
However, Hudson quickly responded that the way in which they are filmed tends to ‘take the fun out of it’.
"Interesting question,” she replied, laughing.
“I think it’s so mechanical and there’s so many people around. Usually they close the set and you kind of have to talk it out and the boys wear belts. It’s very… tucked. It kind of takes the fun out of it, I guess.

"Sometimes it’s more enjoyable than other times. It just depends on the circumstance and the safety that you feel with that actor and how safe the space feels. It can get awkward."
Even though she has been in various sex scenes for work, the actor recently admitted that she’s sworn off men on the advice of her therapist.
In an interview with Alex Cooper on her podcast Call Her Daddy, Hudson revealed she took 'like a full year' away from dating when she was in her thirties.

She explained she was allowed to 'talk to' men but 'couldn't flirt' or 'even text guys'.
"I couldn't give them my number," she added.
She admitted that it was because her therapist advised her too.
The actor explained her therapist offered to 'help' her but warned she had to actually 'do it' and stick to the advice.

"He's like get off the sauce," she continued. "And, well my thing, is I always get distracted. It's fun. I just love the, 'Oo this is fun I'm going to text this person.'"
The actor explained she was so ready to accept the advice because she didn't 'want to keep repeating any patterns anymore'.
And it saw a significant improvement to her life.
That’s more than fair enough.
