Katherine Heigl joined her fellow Grey's Anatomy cast members for a reunion at her first Emmys in a decade.
The awards show took place at the Peacock Theater in California last night (January 16), and it was full of memorable moments and history making wins.
But perhaps one of the more memorable moments came as the doctors of Grey Sloan Memorial Hospital reunited for the first time in forever.

The last time Heigl attended the Emmys was in 2014, as she walked alongside her husband, Josh Kelly.
But this year, original cast members Heigl and Justin Chambers joined former costars Ellen Pompeo, James Pickens Jr. and Chandra Wilson onstage in Los Angeles to announce the winner for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Limited or Anthology Series or Movie.

"When the first episode of Grey's Anatomy aired in March 2005, I'm not sure Shonda Rhimes knew that she had created a show that will have a lasting influence on television and create lifelong friendships," Pompeo began.
Chambers continued on the speech as she noted how the show is '400 episodes and counting', and how that has become a 'tribute to everyone who is now part of our family'.
Heigl then chipped in saying how there has been 'some changes over the years', though 'one thing that had remained a constant' is Grey's Anatomy's 'incredible fan base'.

"You stayed with us through plane crashes, super storms, earthquakes and a global pandemic," Wilson then gushed.
"And as we start our 20th season, we are officially the longest running primetime medical drama in TV history."
"And that would not be possible without all of you," Pickens chimed in. "So to all of our fans and to all of you — we thank you."
Fans were left delighted by Heigl Emmys appearance, with many flocking to X to have their say.

"Watching Katherine Heigl back on stage with her Greys Anatomy cast members after all this time has me crying. The world is healing," one person wrote.
"NO WAY THEY GOT KATHERINE HEIGL INVOLVED IN A GREYS REUNION?" a second asked.
Heigl's time on the show wasn't without its controversy. In 2008, the 27 Dresses star received quite a bit of backlash after she didn't submit her work on Grey's for Emmy consideration.

She said at the time: "I do not feel I was given the material this season to warrant a nomination."
Fast forward eight years to Heigl on The Howard Stern Show, the Firefly Lane star doubled down and told Stern that she 'wasn't feeling good' about her performance on the show.
She continued: "There was a part of me that thought, because I had won the year before, that I needed juicy, dramatic, emotional material, and I just didn’t have that that season."
Heigl did apologise to the show's creator, Shonda Rhimes, and her appearance at this year's Emmys seems to prove that there is no bad blood between them all.
