A parent has weighed in on the 'wild rowdy behavior' of movie-goers after taking their 10-year-old to see A Minecraft Movie.
A Minecraft Movie came out Apr 4 in cinemas and fans of the video game flooded to local cinemas, the film going on to break box office records raking in a massive $163 million in North America alone.
However, it would appear the enthusiasm for the film got a bit too much for some with footage shared round social media showing theaters descending into chaos.

Think applause, jumping up and down and popcorn flying about everywhere. Oh, and one screening became so unruly that police were called in to intervene, Dextero reports.
Why? Well, because a chicken jockey came on-screen.
However, a parent who took their 10-year-old to see Minecraft has since revealed fellow moviegoers actually went 'bonkers' in more than just one scene at their viewing of the film.

The user commented on a UNILAD article the theater was 'packed' when they went to see the film - starring the likes of Jack Black, Jason Momoa and Emma Myers - with their child.

"I mean that literally, we sat in the front row and there was not a seat empty we had people on both sides of us and every seat in the statium [sic] was taken, plus people standing in the aisles," they explained.
Despite being overwhelmingly packed, that didn't stop the crowd going 'absolutely BONKERS' during multiple scenes.
The parent revealed: "Yelling out lines at the top of there lungs (including the chicken jockey scene) and laughing hysterically and shouting 'OHHHHHH' ECT."
However, there were a group of teens who could've changed the tune of the reactions.

A group of teens uttered 'a couple of bad words' throughout, however, thankfully, the parent reflected it was 'hands down the funniest experience [they've] ever had at the movies' as ultimately they 'were having fun and hyping the kids up with their wild reactions' and 'definitely made the whole thing a lot more entertaining'.
Despite multiple cinemas having since warned moviegoers over 'disruptive behaviour' or 'excessive noise,' the parent said: "I heard one of teens say 'that was the best movie I ever saw!!' Repeatedly, unsarcastically. The energy when everyone is hyped and having a good time is unmatched and to have that experience in a movie theater with people of literally every age range was really amazing."
Arguing in defence of the 'chaos,' the parent resolved: "Throwing popcorn and soda is one thing, I mean that's just messed up. But the wild rowdy behavior, let them have fun!! If you don't want to experience a movie with other people don't go to the movies!! Especially if it's kids and teens, let them have fun, this movie is for them!! Stop being a grouch!!"
