Netflix fans are forewarning people to prepare to cry when watching a popular series on the platform.
Everyone likes a good cry now and then, and it turns out if you're the type of person who gets through a box of Kleenex for every season of Grey's Anatomy, then that could be a good thing.
According to some psychologists, getting upset by films and TV shows is healthy and a sign of emotional intelligence.

Jennifer Barnes, assistant professor of psychology at the University of Oklahoma, also insists that it's 'normal' to become sad when your favorite TV character dies, for example.
"If a writer of a show decides to do something bad to that character, or heaven forbid kill that character off, you’re left with a very real emotional response," Barnes explained to TIME in 2017.
"When you spend an hour every week with a person for an entire television season, they really do become a sort of friend—so it’s totally normal to feel upset over them."

With this in mind, if you're looking for a new TV show to have a good cry about then Netflix's Firefly Lane could be it.
The synopsis of the show starring Katherine Heigl and Sarah Chalke reads: "Tully and Kate support each other through good times and bad with an unbreakable bond that carries them from their teens to their forties."
The first series dropped in 2021 and has two series on the platform.

One Netflix subscriber recently took to Facebook page Netflix Bangers to ask for people's thoughts on the show, and they were quickly met with a positive response.
"Best show ever," one person wrote, while another person penned: "Absolutely loved this show."
Others warned of the tear-jerking moments in Firefly Lane and urged people to come prepared.
"So good I’ve never cried so much in the last few episodes of a series," someone said.

"Brilliant and emotional and you won't listen to 'Dancing Queen' in the same way again," added a second.
A different person wrote: "Get out your tissues."
Another Firefly Lane fan hailed the show as 'one of the best' and expressed their sadness of it coming to an end.

Despite its popularity with viewers (the show boasts an 83 percent audience score on Rotten Tomatoes), Firefly Lane sadly won't be returning for a third season.
Without giving any spoilers away, when you get to the end of season two then you'll understand why...
