Morgan Wallen has set the internet ablaze after his recent Saturday Night Live appearance.
On Saturday (March 29), Wallen made his long awaited return to SNL five years after his controversial 2020 debut.
He was initially supposed to make his debut in October 2020, but was informed that he wasn't allowed to play at the time after he'd been spotted kissing several college girls in the days leading up to his performance, thus breaking then-COVID protocols.

Wallen was then invited to play two months later instead.
And he's since returned to SNL this past weekend, which saw Oscar-winning actress Mikey Madison as host.
Usually at the end of the show, the cast members, celebrity host, and musical guest all loiter around during the credits while chatting to each other, but Wallen wasted no time in making a swift exit.

As Madison thanked viewers for watching, Wallen gave her a hug and said goodbye before walking off the stage without acknowledging the rest of the SNL cast — and his actions definitely didn't go unnoticed.

One cast member who struggled to hide their reaction was Devon Walker, who looked visibly stunned at Wallen's fast departure.

Elsewhere, Kenan Thompson gave Ego Nwodim a hug and seemingly pointed towards Wallen's direction, sparking her to turn round and watch the country music star walk off.

Other cast members seemed to memo things to each other, with one eagle-eyed viewer suggesting on Reddit that SNL veteran Mikey Day said: "That was weird."

Addressing everyone speaking in hushed tones to one another, someone else wrote: "I bet those whisper jokes were FIRE."
Noting Walker's unmissable response, another said: "Devon Walker looked p*ssed off at Wallen as well, watch it again on replay."
Adding to to the strangeness of the situation, Wallen shared a cryptic post to Instagram afterwards.
In a snap of an airport runway, the 'Cowgirls' singer said 'get me to God's country', seemingly referring to his home of Tennessee.

LADbible Group has contacted reps of Wallen for comment.
Usually it's the SNL skits that cause controversy rather than the guests themselves. For example, a comedy sketch with Tom Hanks pretending to be a Trump supporter ruffled a few feathers last month.
For the skit, Hanks sported a MAGA hat, faux goatee, a denim shirt, and a tee with an eagle and American flag on it.
One person said that the actor was dressed like a 'slob' and that the segment suggested that Trump's supporters are 'dumb, racist, rednecks'.
