Netflix has released the first trailer for Squid Game season two.
The highly anticipated followup to perhaps one of the most incredibly twisted shows on TV, Squid Game is a South Korean dystopian survival thriller series that follows a group of 456 contestants partaking in a series of challenges to earn a colossal crash prize - however - the stakes are quite literally deadly.
Starring Lee Jung-jae, Park Hae-soo, and HoYeon Jung, Squid Game's first season made absolutely history on Netflix when it first aired in 2021. It became the streaming site's most-watched series and most-watched program in 94 countries.

It received 14 Primetime Emmy Award nominations, with Lee making history as the first Asian actor to win the Emmy for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Drama Series for a non-English part. It swept the Golden Globes and the Screen Actors Guild Awards... should I go on?
Suffice to say, Squid Game was a cultural phenomenon and audiences have been waiting for its second season for years.
And at long last, it's almost here.
