Zendaya has been forced to respond to rumors she got engaged to Tom Holland.
Fans of the Euphoria star got all bent out of shape this week when she posted a snap of herself.
This is what she had to say about it:
In the pic to her Instagram account, Zendaya can be seen sporting a rather nifty hat, a grey t-shirt and some sunglasses.

But it wasn't her attire that got people talking; many noticed she had a rather large silver ring hanging off her finger.
And it wasn't just any finger, oh no, it was seemingly her middle digit, which is usually reserved for a person's wedding or engagement ring.
One person commented: "Wait nahh is zendaya engaged?????????"
Another asked: "Wait are Tom and Zendaya engaged?"

Well, don't go saving any dates just yet, because it looks like it was just a false alarm.
You see, what people thought was a wedding ring turned out to be a regular piece of jewellery.
It seems that some fans didn't take into account the fact the picture of Zendaya was of her reflection, meaning it was her right hand they were looking at, not her left.

The 27-year-old shared a video following the rumors to explain what was going on.
In the brief clip, she said: "I posted it for my hat… Like, not for the ring on my right finger, you guys. Seriously, you think that's how I would drop the deuce? Like, what?!”
Not all her fans were taken in by the initial excitement over her and Holland's alleged nuptials, though, as there were plenty who knew the score.

"Zendaya so fed up of yall speculating her being engaged. Please leave that woman alone," wrote one.
Another said: "Yall need to stop freaking out over zendaya getting engaged every two weeks lord… "
Ironically, this comes not long after Zendaya opened up about why she and Holland like to keep their relationship as private as possible.
"Parts of my life, I accept, are going to be public," she said in a new interview with Elle.

"I can't not be a person and live my life and love the person I love."
"But also, I do have control over what I choose to share," she added.
"It's about protecting the peace and letting things be your own but also not being afraid to exist. You can't hide. That's not fun, either. I am navigating it more than ever now."
