Pamela Anderson has revealed that she split up with Kid Rock because of the comedy flick Borat, which she had a cameo in.
The former couple met at tribute concert to Aretha Franklin in 2001, but ended up splitting in 2006 just as they were about to go into the next stage of their lives together.
When you think of a breakup, the typical reason as to why that has happened is a dispute, cheating or possibly not being in love anymore.
But the reason why Anderson and Rock - real name Robert James Ritchie - ended up splitting up is because of the premiere of the film Borat! Cultural Learnings of America for Make Benefit Glorious Nation of Kazakhstan.

In an exclusive excerpt obtained by Rolling Stone, Anderson wrote in her new memoir, Love, Pamela: "We were about to move in, until the premiere of Borat.
"The screening at Ron and Kelly Meyer’s house didn’t go well. Lots of important industry people were there — Steven Spielberg, Rick Rubin, Laird Hamilton and his wife, Gabby Reece.
"I didn’t tell Bob [Rock] I was in the movie, because I wanted to surprise him."

In the film, Borat falls in love with Anderson after seeing an episode of Baywatch and sets out to meet her.
But his journey is interrupted when he meets a group of boys who show him the infamous stolen sex tape with her ex-husband Tommy Lee.
Anderson recalled: "I forgot about the part in the film that referenced the ‘sex tape.’ Bob stormed out, calling me a wh**e and worse.
"He was embarrassed, and his reaction was not thought through. Laird yelled 'Don’t get mad at Superwoman when she busts out her cape!'

"After I chased Bob to his car, he peeled out, leaving me there alone.
"I turned back and apologised, then asked if anyone could give me a ride home."
She continued: "When I walked in, Bob was smashing a photo on the wall. He said he was sick of waking up to a picture of me and David LaChapelle every day.

"But it wasn’t me and David — it was Marilyn Monroe and Bert Stern."
"We broke up. I didn’t stay in touch with Bob."
So there you have it, the story of how a film premiere ended a relationship - one of many revelations revealed in Anderson's new memoir.
