One horror movie is so scary that it's knocking viewers to the floor - and it's not even been released in cinemas yet.
With Insidious: The Red Door coming out very soon, the film is being promoted in a rather memorable way.
A red door has been set up on Hollywood Boulevard in Los Angeles, with passing pedestrians being encouraged to take a peek.

Once people open up the door, they are greeted with a terrifying figure who lunges towards them.
Needless to say, the stunt had many people spooked.
Some were so frightened that they were knocked to the ground in shock.
One woman was even dragged into the door by the masked performer inside.

Admittedly, I'm not sure what one expects to find when they open a sinister looking red door that's linked to a famous horror movie franchise.
But it's a clever way to market a movie.
Movie fans seemed to agree as they rushed to the comments to praise the interactive endeavour.

One wrote: "Now that's the way to advertise!"
Another gushed: "The trailer makes me hyped for the film, hoping it has a ominous fear factor after watching. I'd go to LA just to experience this for sure."
One Californian wrote: "Might have to take a quick ride over there and check this out. Perfect advertising."
Insidious: The Red Door will be the fifth film in the iconic horror franchise, which began in 2010.

A Sony press release describing the plot reads: "Set ten years after the ending events of the second film, Josh Lambert heads east to drop his son Dalton off at an idyllic, ivy-league university.
"However, Dalton’s college dream becomes a nightmare when the repressed demons of his past suddenly return to haunt them both.
"To end the haunting and to put the demons to rest once and for all, Josh and Dalton must return once again to the Further in order to stop the Lambert nightmare for good."

Clips from the film have been released and are already spooking people.
One such clip sees Josh being targeted by demons whilst in the hospital for a brain scan.
Everything starts out as normal as Josh climbs on to the little bed and is moved into the machine, but the lights suddenly go out while he's trapped in the coffin-like enclosure.
He calls out to the room, but it's not the doctor who responds to him. Or if it is, it's definitely not a doctor I ever want to meet.
The horrifying demon jump scare not only suitably terrified viewers, but has also made people reluctant ever to have an MRI scan again in their lives.
I guess worrying about a demon attack would take your mind off cancer, so it could work out in the end?
