Phineas and Ferb fans - brace yourselves - as the popular animated TV show is back.
Disney has agreed a mega two season, 40-episode deal with co-creator Dan Povenmire and my childhood has just flashed before my eyes.
Just to refresh your memory, the show follows Phineas Flynn (Vincent Martella) and his stepbrother Ferb Fletcher (Thomas Brodie-Sangster), who are determined to make every day of their summer vacation count.

The resourceful stepbrothers get into all sorts of trouble for building full-scale roller coasters, becoming musicians, and traveling back in time to meet dinosaurs.
Despite releasing Phineas and Ferb the Movie back in 2020, the actual show stopped airing in 2015 after bursting onto the scene in 2008.
Cast alongside Martella and Brodie-Sangster, is Ashley Tisdale who voices Candace Flynn, while Povenmire himself voices Dr. Doofenshmirtz.

"It has been the greatest pleasure of my career to see how an entire generation of kids and parents have embraced the characters and the humour of Phineas and Ferb," Povenmire said in a statement.
"I'm eagerly looking forward to diving back into the show for them and for a whole new generation."
"Dan is renowned for his ability to create universally beloved stories and characters with both heart and humor," Disney Branded Television president Ayo Davis said in the announcement.
"We couldn't be happier to continue our collaboration with him and bring back the iconic Phineas and Ferb in a big way."

"THERE’S ONE HUNDRED AND FOUR DAYS OF SUMMER VACATION!" a third fan added, referencing the iconic theme song.
The show was inspired by Povenmire's childhood in Mobile, Alabama, where his mum told him to never waste a day of summer.
As a child, he soon got to work by doing a bit of home movie-making.

Povenmire said: "My mom let me drape black material all the way across one end of our living room to use as a space field.
"I would hang little models of spaceships for these little movies I made with a Super 8 camera."
