Newly shared behind-the-scenes footage from Hulu's new hit Prey shows off the film's incredible special effects.
Look, it's no secret that the Predator prequel, released 5 August, has knocked it out of the park.
Not only is the film the first to be entirely dubbed in Comanche, got the best Rotten Tomatoes rating of the franchise, and has an incredible protagonist, but it also has killer special effects.

Take a look for yourself in the below behind-the-scenes footage:
Literally, the work that went into creating Predator has us convinced the makeup team is magic.
Behind the scenes clips from the film show Dane DiLiegro (Predator) in his pure nightmare fuel get-up and it's safe to say the team pulled a blinder.

Special effects co-supervisor, Alec Gillis said that director Dan Trachtenberg gave them creative licence to make the Predator scary as hell.
Alec told IndieWire: "Dan brought parameters of likes and dislikes, and initially one of the notes said that he wanted this [Predator] to elicit more horror."
Fellow co-supervisor Tom Woodruff added: "So that got us talking about whether or not this could have been the origins of demonic spirits in the eyes of the Native people, such as the Wendigo. That influenced our thinking."

For anyone wondering, the Wendigo is an evil spirit, who was thought to have originated in the folklore of Plains and Great Lakes Natives.
The suit being elegantly informed by Native American folklore was also in keeping with the setting of the new movie, which takes place in the Comanche Nation 300 years ago.
The film follows Naru (Amber Midthunder), a skilled indigenous warrior who fights to protect her tribe when they come under attack from a 'highly-evolved' predator.
It seems only fitting that her counterpart's appearance is inspired by folklore from the community it centres around.
Still, while the results looked incredible, it wasn't exactly a walk in the park for DiLiegro, who said in an interview with Variety: "I had to wear this foam latex suit that weighed 80 pounds.

"My feet were four inches off the floor and my toes stuck out four inches.
"I weighed 320 pounds with that suit, and foam latex is a sponge, so the weight would increase as the day went by."
Yep, foam latex sponge, not exactly what you imagine for the most advanced predator out there but, hey, if it works.
You can watch the new film on Hulu and Disney+ now.
