Actors recalling 'awkward' sex scenes in films is nothing new, with the likes of Margot Robbie and Kirsten Dunst opening up about it in the past.
And it is certainly understandable for actors to want to get sex scenes over as quickly as possible with the entire film crew watching their every move.
Typically, these sex scenes involve actors that usually do not have that type of relationship, making it more awkward for all those involved.

But in the new series, Daisy Jones & The Six, Riley Keough, who plays Daisy Jones, films an intimate moment with her real-life husband Ben Smith-Petersen.
While the actor may be comfortable with her husband in the comfort of her own home, Keough ecalled how the sex scene in Daisy Jones & The Six was 'weirder' than she ever imagined.
For those unaware, Daisy Jones & The Six is a TV mini-series based off the book of the same name.

Daisy Jones & The Six features the likes of Riley Keough, Sam Claflin, Suki Waterhouse, Camila Morrone, Will Harrison, Sebastian Chacon, and of course a cameo from Ben Smith-Petersen, just to name a few.
Speaking on Late Night with Seth Myers, Keough opened up on what it was like filming sex scenes with her husband for the show.
She said: "The cameo came about because I have to have intercourse with a random person in the show, and the producers were like, 'It would be so funny if it was your husband'."

Myers then asked: "Was that more or less awkward?"
"It was more awkward!" Keough replied. "I think they were thinking it would be less awkward, and then we got there and they're like, 'This is really uncomfortable'.
"For one, I've never had pretend sex with my husband. And for two, you know, normally, typically, when you do these things and it's somebody coming in for the day, you're like, 'Hello, nice to meet you', and you kind of get down to business and it's very professional.
"But with him, it was just, like, really … We were just giggling the whole time."

The actor concluded: "In the scene — and this is a spoiler alert — in the scene, I'm not really enjoying it.
"And I really kept feeling inclined to be like, 'In real life, it's not like this'. And I was like, 'I'll just keep that to myself'."
