People are only just finding out why one particular Spongebob Squarepants episode was banned 15 years after it originally aired.
The much-loved Nickelodeon show has been a staple on our TV screens for over 25 years, after the first episode released in 1999.
To date, we've visited Bikini Bottom for a whopping 15 seasons to date, with over 300 episodes coming as a result of that.

SpongeBob Squarepants holds a special place in a lot of Millennial's - and even Gen-Z's - hearts, as it's the kids TV show they've grown up with.
While there are countless memorable and amazing episodes of the Nickelodeon show, there is one particular show that has been banned from all forms of TV and streaming platforms.
'Mid Life Crustacean', as it was known, focused on the legendary character that is Mr Krabs as he entered a mid-life crisis.

To help him recapture his youth and all the fun times that were had, SpongeBob and Patrick decide to take Mr Krabs out for a fun time.
While the friend trio partook in a number of fun activities, Mr Krabs admitted that he's favourite event of the evening was the 'panty raid', which saw him, Spongebob and Patrick break into a woman's house and steal her underwear.
While that is pretty weird in itself, a further twist revealed the pals had broken into Mr Krabs' mom's house and stole her underwear.
Ultimately, the episode was deemed not suitable for children and it was pulled from TV and streaming platforms.

A spokesperson for Nickelodeon said in 2021: "Mid-Life Crustacean has been out of rotation since 2018, following a standards review in which we determined some story elements were not kid-appropriate."
While that was in 2021, a blunder in 2023 saw the episode return to Paramount+, which allowed those who enjoyed the episode's unusual nature to watch once more.
'Mid Life Crustacean' was quickly pulled by the streaming giant, however.

A spokesperson for Paramount+ said: "Due to a technical error, the episode was inadvertently posted for a brief period on the Paramount+ Channel on Amazon Prime Video. It has since been removed."
At the back end of last year, fans were able to taste the iconic Krabby Patty, which of course, Spongebob makes at the Krusty Krab restaurant chain.
From October to December last year, fans were able to try a real-life version of the burger at Wendy's.
