Stephen King Admits There’s Just One Movie He’s Walked Out Of In His Life

Stephen King has revealed the one and only movie he has ever walked out on.

The legendary author is known for writing some of the most successful horror and suspense stories of all time.

From classics such as It and The Shining, to The Stand and Carrie, his catalogue of work can't really be messed with.

However, the 74-year-old has recently took to Twitter to reply to novelist Linwood Barclay's tweet about what film forced him to walk out of the cinema.

Barclay wrote: "Jurassic World Dominion has the distinction of being the first movie I’ve walked out on in years."

To which, King replied: "I have walked out of only one movie as an adult: TRANSFORMERS.

"Would like to know what other movies people have walked out on."

But what version of the film was he referring to?

A fan in the comments asked King: "Okay, Mr. King. You are hands down my favourite writer of all time. Which Transformers movie was it that you walked out on? The 1986 cartoon movie or one of the Michael Bay creations?"

King then confirmed the Transformers movie he was referring to was, indeed, 'the first one' from director Michael Bay.

Yep, Shia's and Megan's 2007 iconic blockbuster.

Sorry, but we have to question Stephen's taste here.

Users in the comments started telling us what films have forced them to leave half their popcorn in the movies.

In fact, American sports and political commentator and writer Keith Olbermann wrote: "Godfather 3. Night after the premiere in LA. Then walked back in on the hunch it would get worse. And it did.

"Room full of Godfather fans who all cheered when the daughter got shot and laughed when mom screamed."

Wow, I mean the third movie certainly wasn't anywhere near the first and second films, but that is a bit crazy.

Another controversial opinion read: "The only movie I ever walked out on is Moulin Rouge. Not sure why my body and mind rejected it, but I just couldn’t sit there another second."

Someone else added: "Sadly, I walked out of the first Star Wars when I was in 9th grade. I guess I should feel guilt about it, but ironically I’ve never seen ANY of the other sequels/prequels. @StephenKing Am i wrong?"

For clarity, yes mate, you are very wrong.
