Sylvester Stallone's wife has filed for divorce after more than 25 years of marriage.
According to TMZ, Jennifer Flavin filed the documents in Florida on Friday 19 August, although the reason for her doing so remains unclear.
Stallone told the outlet via his representative: "I love my family. We are amicably and privately addressing these personal issues."

Fans began to speculate whether their marriage was on the rocks this week after the Rocky star got a tattoo of his wife's face covered up with an image of Butkus, a bull mastiff from the film franchise.
But earlier this week a rep for the star suggested everything was fine between the couple, who share three daughters together.
They told the MailOnline: "Mr. Stallone intended to refresh the tattoo image of his wife Jennifer however the results were unsatisfactory and, unfortunately, unfixable.

"As a result, he had to cover the original image with a tattoo of his dog from Rocky, Butkus.
"Mr. Stallone loves his family. The Stallones are presently filming a reality show together which will debut on Paramount+."
These comments are a stark contrast to the latest news, with court documents obtained by TMZ outlining the belief that Stallone is concealing 'marital assets'.

The excerpt reads: "Upon information and belief, the Husband has engaged in the intentional dissipation, depletion and/or waste of marital assets which has had an adverse economic impact on the marital estate.
"Pursuant to Section 61.075, Florida Statues, equity dictates that the Wife be compensated and made whole by receiving an unequal distribution of the marital assets in her favor.
"Moreover, the Husband should be enjoined from, selling, transferring, assigning, encumbering, or dissipating any assets during the pendency of proceedings."
Flavin, who is 22 years younger than her 76-year-old husband, also sparked rumours about troubles in their marriage after posting a photo of herself with the pair's daughters on Instagram.

Alongside the snap, she wrote: "These girls are my priority. Nothing else matters. The 4 of us forever."
UNILAD has contacted Sylvester Stallone's rep for comment.
The couple first met in 1988 when Flavin was just 20 years old, shortly after Sly's second marriage to Brigitte Nielsen had ended.

They didn't get married until 1997, at which point Stallone was entering his autumn years and had calmed down on his 'playboy' lifestyle – to some extent.
Flavin, 54, previously said: "I'm not naïve about what may go on when I'm not around – he's a 45-year-old man – I can't change the way he is.
"Still, he's not a cheating dog every day of the week. We spend five out of seven nights together, so I don't know where he'd find the time."
