Viewers claim they're ‘howling’ with laughter as a clip from the new Ted series has gone viral.
Remember 2012? You couldn't move without hearing Psy’s ‘Gangnam Style’, teen phenomenon Twilight came to an end and Seth MacFarlane made his directorial debut with Ted.
The latter’s live-action effort followed John Bennett (played by Mark Wahlberg) - a slacker in his 30s whose girlfriend Lori Collins (Mila Kunis) forced him to choose between a relationship with her or with his best friend - a talking teddy bear named Ted (voiced by MacFarlane).

In the snippet, the titular character can be seen defending John’s mother Susan Bennett (Alanna Ubach) after a schoolgirl called Erin slated her.

Ahead of Ted’s release, MacFarlane sat down with The Hollywood Reporter and discussed why the series was set as a prequel to the 2012 movie.
He told the publication: “Ted 2, I think, did very well.
"The story that had been told in the first one had such a clear beginning, middle and end that it felt like we are happily ever after from there, and so where do you really go?
“But the idea of doing a prequel was a different case. It wasn’t something that I came up with.”
The star also revealed that representatives from Universal actually came to him to propose the idea of a Ted series.
“I hadn’t really thought about going back to that character until they mentioned it,” he admitted.
“And I said, ‘Really? Isn’t that outrageously expensive?’ They stayed true to their word and did not compromise the quality.”
If you’re based in the US, then you can stream all episodes of the Ted prequel on Peacock.
However, If you’re a UK resident, then you’ll have to wait until Friday, 9 February for Ted to drop on Sky Max and Now.
