When you’ve been watching a show like The Boys as we all have for multiple seasons, you kinda just assume all the main characters have interacted.
But in the case of some famous shows, that has just never happened.
Take Breaking Bad, you’d think every main character in that show would meet in some way, shape, or form over the course of the five seasons.

Despite this, two of the show’s biggest characters, Walt Jr and Jesse, never meet.
The same could be said for The Boys, as several crossovers between the titular Boys and the Supes they try to kill have simply never happened.
This was discovered on Reddit in a post by a fan on the r/TheBoys subreddit.

The most shocking of the realisations is that The Deep and Hughie have never interacted on screen.
Hughie was essentially the main character for the first couple seasons of the show, and The Deep is not only a core member of The Seven, but has a history with Hughie's girlfriend Starlight.
This history, in which The Deep sexually assaulted her shortly after she joined The Seven, is the theory as to why many think they’ve never properly interacted.

One fan commented: “Probably for the best Hughie stays away from the Deep. He’s not going to be ok with what the Deep did to Annie and probably would get himself beaten up.”
Another said: “Hughie and the Deep is criminal because of the potential animosity we missed.”
A third said: “I am genuinely surprised that the Deep and Hughie have never interacted. That seems so strange”.
The other major pairing to have never interacted is Mother’s Milk (MM) and Homelander.

Not only are they two of the characters with the most importance and screentime in the show, but MM has spent a large portion of the show working on different schemes to take out Homelander.
In this most recent season, Homelander even refers to MM by name.
Add to this the fact that Homelander’s father, Soldier Boy, killed MM’s father – and there is a tonne of potential history between the pair.

A fan commented on the Reddit post to say: “It was weird hearing Homelander saying MMs name in the scene they killed Cameron Coleman.
"It's like "oh yeah, I didn't think he knew who the rest of the Boys were outside Butcher and Hughie."
A second commented: “Honestly I really want MM and Homelander to talk.”
One fan even pointed out that, whilst the pair almost met at Herogasm, MM was knocked out when he arrived.
Add to that Frenchie and Soldier Boy, and there are some crazy combinations that we’re yet to get in the show.
With season four wrapped up with an insane finale which released this morning, here’s hoping we get these juicy interactions in the show’s final outing.
