TJ Miller has revealed that Ryan Reynolds reached out to him after he claimed the Deadpool star was 'horrifically mean' to him on set.
The controversial actor, who starred as Wade Wilson's best friend Weasel in the first two Deadpool films, said earlier this month that he would 'never work with Ryan Reynolds again.'
He also claimed that he thinks Reynolds 'hates' him after a 'weird' experience on set and described the star as 'kind of an insecure dude.'

But now, the Silicon Valley actor is insisting that there were no hard feelings and it was all just a 'misunderstanding', after Reynolds personally got in touch with him to clear the air.
"It was really cool. He emailed me the next day... it was a misunderstanding. So I emailed him back, and now it’s fine", TJ said in a recent interview with SiriusXM's Jim Norton and Sam Roberts.
He went on to add: "What's ridiculous is, [the interview] was just me telling a story from on-set that I thought was weird... but I just wasn't thinking... and that's a big problem I have in general is not thinking about the repercussions of saying this or that."

Miller explained that, after his original claims went viral, Reynolds reached out to him to say: "Hey, I just heard on the show that you were upset about this."
"And I kind of said: 'You know, I'm not.' And then we sort of just hashed it out really quickly."
Miller also pointed out that he didn't think he 'had said anything that was that negative.'
It all kicked off last week when Miller appeared on The Adam Carolla Show and opened up about his experience on the set of Deadpool, adding that he had no interest in returning for the third film.

"We had a really weird moment on Deadpool where he said 'let's do one more take' but then as the character he was horrifically mean to me - but to me, as if I’m Weasel", he said.
Miller did have praise for Reynolds, too, describing him as a 'great improviser' and a better comedian than him, but he did add: "Then after he got super, super famous from the first Deadpool, then he, yeah, things kind of changed…
"I mean, would I work with him again? No, I would not work with him again."

So, even though the beef is squashed, chances are there'll be no Weasel in Deadpool 3 - though there will be a Wolverine.
Deadpool 3 will appear in cinemas on 6 September, 2024.
