Tom Cruise’s daughter Suri has made her big screen debut, having featured in the credits alongside her mother Katie Holmes in a new movie all about being in lockdown.
Suri Cruise, 16, is the daughter of the two Hollywood actors, who were married for six years between 2006 and 2012.
And now she’s following in their footsteps after making her film debut with a singing credit in Alone Together, which follows two strangers who are thrown together during the early days of the pandemic.
A synopsis says: “Two strangers wind up double-booked in the same upstate New York rental during the start of the pandemic quarantine. Exasperating the situation, the lockdown forces them both to stay and confront the unexpected feelings that develop between them.”

The movie, which recently premiered at Tribeca Film Festival, was written and directed by 43-year-old Holmes, who also stars as food critic June.
She had nothing but praise for her daughter, who sings a cover of ‘Blue Moon’ during the opening credits.
Speaking to Yahoo Entertainment, Holmes explained: "I always want the highest level of talent. So, I asked her. She's very, very talented. She said she would do it, and she recorded it, and I let her do her thing. That's the way I direct in general. It's like, 'This is what I think we all want — go do your thing.'"

The star said it wouldn’t be her daughter’s only on-screen singing gig, either, adding: "She actually did sing in ‘Rare Objects,’ which is the film we did last fall.
"Other than that, she's a 16-year-old kid doing high school."
Holmes was 27 when she gave birth to Suri, who is her only child, and has tried to keep their family life relatively private - choosing not to post any photos of her daughter online.
Talking to Elle UK back in 2019, she said she had enjoyed becoming a mother at the age she did.

"I was happy to become a mum in my twenties," she said.
"It’s been nice that our ages fit… how do I put this? Every age that my child has been and my age at that time has been a good match. We kind of grew up together."
As for the sort of house that she runs, Holmes added: "It’s really homey. I have a lot of pictures. I like vintage art from flea markets. Because we’re in New York, I want our apartment to be very cosy and soft – the city around us is so intense and hard. So that’s our style. And a lot of colours."
