Beau Is Afraid is set to drop in cinemas on 21 April this year, and judging from the trailer, it's gonna be one hell of a ride.

Often people complain of trailers that give away too much of the plot, but this one somehow leaves you knowing less by the end of it.

Honestly, what the hell is the plot of this film?

Well, luckily we have the synopsis, elucidates things. Kind of.

It reads: "A paranoid man embarks on an epic odyssey to get home to his mother in this bold and ingeniously depraved new film from writer-director Ari Aster."
