Uma Thurman has given an update on the possibility of a Kill Bill Vol. 3, the potential next addition to Quentin Tarantino’s portfolio.
The director has broached the idea of Kill Bill Vol. 3 before, much to fans' delight, and Thurman has now shared her own update.
The Kill Bill films follow 'The Bride' (Thurman), a female assassin who seeks revenge on her former boss Bill.

While many believed that The Bride's story was wrapped up in the first two films, which were released in 2003 and 2004, a third film has previously been 'discussed'.
In a recent interview on The Jess Cagle Show for SiriusXM, Thurman said that at one point it seemed like a third Kill Bill had serious potential.
She said, as per Complex, 'I can’t really tell you anything about it. I mean it has been discussed over the years. There was real thought about it happening, but very long ago. I don’t see it as immediately on the horizon.'

Thurman added, 'I hate to disappoint people. Everybody wishes it would be the case, but I think it’s not immediately on the horizon.'
While that sounds like the project might not be happening, Tarantino did give fans hope when he discussed potential plots on The Joe Rogan Experience podcast, including the possibility of Thurman's daughter, Maya Hawke, playing The Bride's daughter, Bebe.
Tarantino said, 'I think it’s just revisiting the characters 20 years later and just imagining The Bride and her daughter, Bebe, having 20 years of peace, and then that peace is shattered.'

The director added, 'And now the Bride and Bebe are on the run and just the idea of being able to cast Uma and cast her daughter Maya in the thing would be f*cking exciting.'
And it really does. We'd watch it for sure.
Maya has already appeared in Tarantino's Once Upon a Time... In Hollywood, in which she played one of the Manson family members who was having second thoughts.

However, if Tarantino is serious about his 10th film being his last, would a third Kill Bill be it?
In the past, the director has counted the first and second films of Kill Bill as one movie, as Esquire reports.
So, maybe the third Kill Bill wouldn't be counted in his total either...?
Here's hoping, because that would mean there's two more Tarantino films on the way.
