New Netflix thriller Pieces of Her has dropped, and viewers can't seem to get over one particular scene.
The show, which consists of eight episodes, is an adaptation of the 2018 bestselling novel by Karin Slaughter.
Starring Toni Collette and Bella Heathcote, the series has made the top of the streaming Top 10 list following its release on Friday, March 4.

Collette plays Laura Oliver, a suburban mother who has hidden her dark past from her daughter Andy (Heathcote).

Celebrating Andy's 30th birthday at a restaurant, a violent incident occurs, and Laura and Andy are suddenly on the run from an enemy Laura thought she had left behind.
However, many fans are pretty fixated with one scene.
After a gunman starts up shooting the place, Collette’s character shockingly slits his throat with a knife.

'That opening… was the most stressful 10 minutes of my life,' wrote one viewer. Another added: 'Y’all the first 10 minutes of Pieces of Her… WILD.'
'I’m usually indifferent about content warnings, but this definitely needed something.'
Someone else wrote: 'This Pieces of Her show is MAD, 10 minutes in and this craziness has already happened.'
Others referred to the opening as 'insane' and 'hectic'.

The official synopsis reads: 'A woman pieces together her mother's dark past after a violent attack in their small town brings hidden threats and deadly secrets to light.'
Some viewers have also been dubbing Andy as 'the most annoying' character ever.
To be fair, I wouldn't say that to her face, considering what her mother is capable of...
