As if all of that wasn't enough, Silva finds that powerful forces from both Heaven and Hell want to control her.
Over 121,000 fans rallied together to call for its revival and successfully convinced Netflix to change their mind.
In a statement, showrunner Simon Barry said: "Today I’m happy to officially report that because of your combined voices, passion and amazing efforts - #WarriorNun will return and is going to be more EPIC than you could imagine."
Fans were overjoyed to hear that Warrior Nun would be returning to their TV screens.

One gushed: "We won!!", whilst another wrote: "Warrior Nun stans was hustling for this show, impressed ngl [Not gonna lie]."
Upon release, the show received generally positive reviews.
A reviewer for the AV Club wrote: "The script can sometimes lean too much on mythological and religious exposition... but the actors have such good chemistry that their various pairings work, and the smartly choreographed fight scenes are well-placed."

The writer also likened the show to Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Veronica Mars.
Nicole Drum from ComicBook.com gave the review 3 out of 5, and wrote: "Warrior Nun is a truly wild journey that manages to ask some tough questions while equally embracing its silliness, its action, and the absolute absurdity of it all. The show may not be everyone's cup of tea, but it is one hell of a fun ride."
When it was cancelled, many fans slammed the decision, particularly as the show was female-led and featured many LGBTQ characters.
Netflix users were also sharing other shows they wanted to be revived, including Ann with an E, The Vampire Academy and Julie and the Phantoms.
