Fans of Dr DisRespect noticed an awkward moment during one of the streamer's broadcasts shortly before his studio publicly announced its decision to cut ties with him.
Studio Midnight Society, which Dr DisRespect co-founded, took to X to share the news on Monday (25 June) after claims emerged about why Dr DisRespect had been banned from Twitch.

The 42-year-old streamer, whose real name is Herschel "Guy" Beahm IV, was banned from Twitch in 2020, but the platform refused to offer an explanation for his ban at the time.
Dr DisRepsect then moved his content to YouTube, but on Friday (21 June) a former Twitch employee came forward with allegations about Beahm's ban, alleging he had been 'sexting a minor'.
The Verge later reported that a second Twitch employee had also come forward to corroborate the post.

Midnight Society alluded to the allegation in its post on Monday, writing: "On Friday evening we became aware of an allegation against one of our co-founder’s Guy Beahm aka Dr Disrespect.
"We assumed his innocence and began speaking with parties involved. And in order to maintain our principles and standards as a studio and individuals, we needed to act.
"For this reason, we are terminating our relationship with Guy Beahm immediately."
After the news came to light, internet users pointed to a noteworthy moment in one of Dr DisRespect's streams that took place shortly before the announcement.

In the clip, the streamer appeared to look down at his phone after receiving a message. After digesting its contents, fans claimed they saw his mood 'immediately shift'.
Dr DisRespect ended his stream, saying he would take an extended break or possibly 'drive into the sunset'.

He spoke about moving 'away from the limelight', adding: “There’s 50 million other streamers you could watch right now.”
Fans have suggested Beahm received the news that he'd been dropped by Midnight Society mid-stream, with one person writing: "He was reading that his company has fired him."
Another commented: "Assuming it was from Midnight Society dropping him."
Before Midnight Society publicly announced its decision to cut ties, Beahm shared a post on X to try and shut down the speculation about his ban from Twitch.

He wrote: "Listen, I’m obviously tied to legal obligations from the settlement with Twitch but I just need to say what I can say since this is the f**king internet.
"I didn’t do anything wrong, all this has been probed and settled, nothing illegal, no wrongdoing was found, and I was paid."
