Two of the biggest rappers in the game have teamed up for the first time ever, and we can’t wait to wrap our eardrums around whatever they’ve conjured up.
Taking to Instagram on Tuesday (30 August), Diddy shared a series of snaps of himself and Dr Dre in the studio together, gushing that one of his ‘biggest dreams’ had come true.
The pair appeared to be having a blast in the photos, and Diddy even revealed that his time with Dre had inspired him to ‘step up his focus’.
In an accompanying caption, the 'I’ll Be Missing You' hit-maker penned: “Yesterday, one of my biggest dreams finally came true. I remember the first time I heard @DrDre’s production. It gave me clear direction on the level of Producer that I wanted to be. Last night, I got the chance to work with this man and to see his genius as he coached me through vocals."

Diddy added: “He reminded me of myself, but with a different style and way more focused. I gotta step my focus up! lol But it was a great experience and I thank God for it. I hope one day ya’ll get to have the same experience with someone that you always looked up to as a hero.”
Fans and celebrities alike were delighted by the news, with supermodel Naomi Campbell replying: “Dreams come true,” and DJ Felix Da Housecat adding: “Gods.”
Other comments included: “OMG! This is so dope,” “Just perfect,” and “This is a dream of mine to see you two collaborate.”
Earlier this year, it was reported that Diddy was to blame for Dre losing $200 million back in 2014.

That year, Apple offered to buy Dre and Jimmy Iovine’s brand Beats Electronics for a colossal sum, but Iovine warned that if anyone in their inner circle gossiped about the offer, it could be taken off the table.
Understandably, Dre struggled to keep quiet about the mind-blowing sum Apple had offered, and was seen bragging about the deal in a recorded video.
But it wasn’t by chance Iovine found out about the footage. In fact, Diddy called Iovine to fill him in, leading Apple to drop hundreds of millions of dollars off their offer.

The whole thing was explained by Tripp Mickle in his book After Steve: How Apple Became a Trillion-Dollar Company and Lost Its Soul.
Mickle wrote: “At 2:00 am, Iovine got a call from Puff Daddy, who was screaming that Dre and Tyrese, a rapper, were talking about the deal in a Facebook video.”
Judging by their recent studio sesh, there’s no hard feelings between the rappers now.
