In yet another case of a singer having an object launched at them while performing, Drake has been hit by a phone thrown by a fan during his concert.

While this is a pretty new phenomenon, we have certainly seen a lot of cases of phones being launched at popular artists in recent weeks.

It all started with singer Bebe Rexha, who was rushed off stage after one audience member threw a phone at her face, while Kelsea Ballerini was forced to stop her concert after being hit by an object shortly afterwards.

And Adele made light of the situation as she performed in Vegas, where she stopped the show to have a bit of banter with the crowd before setting off a t-shirt cannon into the audience.

She made it pretty clear she wouldn’t be happy if anyone tried any funny business with her, joking that she would ‘f**king kill’ them if they did.

The British singer yelled: "Have you noticed how people are, like, forgetting f**king show etiquette at the moment?

"Throwing s**t on stage, have you seen them? I f**king dare you, I dare you throw something at me, I'll f**king kill you."

She then lifted up the t-shirt cannon and fired it into the crowd, shouting: “Stop throwing things at the artist.”

Adele laughed that it was a ‘total reverse’ as she 'can shoot things at the audience', creasing up on stage.

While Adele didn't get hit by any objects after the message, Drake was a little less fortunate with one of his latest concert performances.

Footage of the the 'One Dance' rapper being hit by a phone as he performs is doing the rounds on social media, and people are pretty confused by it.

The footage sees Drake performing one of his slower songs as a phone launched from the crowd hit him on the arm.

While it could have struck him in a worse place, that hasn't left fans any less impressed.

People have been left confused by the incident.

"Why is this a thing?" one person simply wrote on Twitter, while a second added: At least wasn't a headshot like before. Again 'who throws their phone'."

And another remarked: "is this a new obsession."

Meanwhile, a fourth said what we were all thinking, why would you want to throw your phone.

"They do this to get internet famous, Drake’s not going to give them the satisfaction. That phone will be cleaned up by the cleaning crew and tossed in the garbage," the Twitter user wrote.
