Hayley Williams has apologized for kicking a couple of fans out of a recent Paramore concert after footage of the incident was posted online.
The Paramore frontwoman is no stranger to cracking down on bad behavior in the audience when she's performing, having broken up fights at her gigs in the past.
She's stopped concerts mid-performance to sort out trouble in the crowd and warn the rest of her fans not to misbehave or they could be facing the exit door.

However, a recent incident where she kicked a couple of fans out has resulted in her apologizing to the people who were made to leave.
In a video which has since gone viral on TikTok, the Paramore singer could be seen performing at Madison Square Garden when the lights came on and the show was paused to deal with an issue in the crowd.
There appeared to be a couple of fans who were upsetting others at the concert by pushing their way through the crowd in the general admission pit.

Pointing over to the source of the commotion in the crowd she said: "Also, do I see like... what is happening?"
It was met with a few shouts that some people were trying to push through the crowd as Williams told the fans: "Yes, I will embarrass both of you."
The fans were then told to 'find somewhere else to take care of that s**t' as the Paramore singer insisted it was 'not happening here' and the rest of the crowd cheered.
She said she didn't want people in the crowd to 'disrupt one of our favourite songs' before going on with the show and the two fans who had been told off for pushing were removed from the show.

While people praised Hayley Williams for handling the situation her own view on how things went down changed after she had a chance to watch the footage and get a proper look at the fans who were kicked out.
She took to Discord to share a lengthy statement apologizing for the way they'd been treated as she felt like she 'embarrassed the hell out of those two people without truly knowing what the situation was'.

"What I saw on my friend's phone screen didn't look like the fight I thought I was stopping. It didn't look particularly kind either," Williams wrote as part of her statement on the matter.
"But I have not been able to shake the feeling that I abused my responsibility and my platform in that moment… that I hurt those two in a way that will outlast the momentary discomfort of their poor concert etiquette."
She noted that while some members of the crowd cheered her decision to call out the two fans when she watched the video for herself she 'didn't see the smug smiles' and it's something she hasn't been able to stop thinking about.
She wrote: "So, if you are those two people... I am sorry for whatever shame or embarrassment I may have caused you."

The singer ended her statement by saying she'd still kick people out of concerts if she deemed it necessary but wouldn't treat it like a 'biblical era public execution'.
