Fans of Miley Cyrus are convinced she has released an album under a secret name.

While it's no secret that the 'We Can't Stop' hit-maker has had a plethora of different personalities in her long-spanning music career - it's clear that some fans think she's had an entirely different name at one point.

From her OG stint on Disney Channel's Hannah Montana to the controversial 'Bangerz' era - complete with hammer-licking and twerking galore - fans are now sure that Miley has an entirely new alter-ego.

Rumours first started making their rounds on social media last month (26 April) when fans started putting out pet theories that Miley had put out a secret album under the cryptic pseudonym, Clara Pierce.

The 12-track album debuted earlier this year (10 March) - which was coincidentally the same exact day that the award-winning star released her eighth studio album through Columbia Record, 'Endless Summer Vacation'.

Fans are pointing to the coincidence as a huge piece of evidence in their conspiracy theory - also noting that Clara's voice sounds very similar to Miley's own distinctively raspy vocals.

One fan in question, Shane Cardinal, has since taken to TikTok to explain a little more about the speculation.

"Just go listen to the songs," he said in reference to Clara's album 'Down With Me'.

The album was initially available on several streaming platforms like Spotify and Apple Music, but it has since been taken off all platforms altogether.

How peculiar.

Regardless, fans who have managed to give the tracks a listen maintain that Clara's vocals actually belong to Miley.

Shane continued: "She's speaking at the beginning [of 'I'll Never Hurt You Again'] and it's unmistakably Miley Cyrus.

And if that wasn't enough to raise suspicion, fans also clocked on to the fact that a whole load of Clara's track names have parallels with Miley's vast discography.

For example, 'See You Again,' the seventh song on the album, is also the name of a track from the Miley's debut album, 'Meet Miley Cyrus' which went on to be her first top ten hit.

To fuel the fire even more, Clara also has a song titled 'Without You' which is the same name as Cyrus's collaboration with The Kid Laroi back in 2021.

Clara's album also features a song named 'Sagittarius' which - you guessed it - is Miley's astrological star sign.

The song in question even references the 'Miley, what's good now?' controversy between the singer and Nicki Minaj's awkward encounter at the MTV Video Music Awards in 2015.

While nothing has been confirmed or denied yet - it's clear that the theories are sending the internet into a complete spiral.
