A Brazilian singer's death has been compared to something from Final Destination following a freak accident.
Ayres Sasaki was performing in Salinopolis, Brazil, on July 13 when tragedy struck.
While on stage a fan wearing a wet t-shirt is said to have approached Sasaki and hugged him - but the hug ended up turning fatal.

Because of their wet clothing, Sasaki was reportedly electrocuted and instantly killed.
It reamins unclear what happened to the fan and if they survived the ordeal.
It's also unknown as to how and why the fan was wet, but police have launched a probe into the 35-year-old untimely death, The Sun US reports.

The music gig was being hosted at The Solar Hotel, which has since issued a statement following Saturday's devastating events.
"We are fully dedicated to providing support to his family and taking the necessary measures," it said.
"We reaffirm our commitment to fully cooperating with the competent authorities for the proper clarification of the events."
Sasaki's passing comes just a few months after he tied the knot.

The singer wed his wife Mariana in what looked to have been a beautiful ceremony in October 2023.
Sharing a video of their special day on Instagram on October 17, Sasaki wrote: "Eternity awaits us my love."
Many have voiced their shock in the wake of Sasaki's unexpected death, with one person comparing the nature of his passing being something from Final Destination.

"My goodness, this is some Final Destination type of bad luck," someone penned on Facebook. "RIP to a young talented individual gone too soon."
"So sad. My deepest condolences to the family," said a second.
Another person wrote: "This is a crazy sad story."
Elsewhere fellow singer Adriano Freitas hailed Sasaki as being 'charismatic'.

"We were friends in daily life, beyond music," he told local media. "[He was] a super charismatic guy, his talent was incredible. He was the best singer and guitarist in Belem.
"A great friend, very family-oriented, attentive to his friendships, and to those who appreciated his work."
Comedian and friend Natto Almeida added: "What will definitely stand out about Sasaki is his good heart, very polite.
"I think this will be the lasting mark he leaves behind."
Sasaki is survived by his wife and family. It isn't thought that he had any children at the time of his death.
