It appears someone in this world is very, very generous with their money.
The unknown bidder has forked out close to $100,000 to be the proud owner of the microphone that Cardi B threw at a fan during her Las Vegas concert.
The rapper went viral after footage showed her toss the device with the precision of an NFL quarterback when they threw a drink on her.

It sparked a big debate about whether it was okay for the 30-year-old to do something like that and fans were properly divided.
Some said it was a complete overreaction and could have hurt someone in the crowd, whereas others thought it was good that artists are standing up for themselves.
However, things escalated when the police got involved.

The Las Vegas Metro Police Department released a statement to Variety that said: "On July 30, 2023, an individual came into an LVMPD police station to report a battery.
“According to the victim, she was attending an event on July 29, 2023, at a property located in the 3500 block of Las Vegas Boulevard.
"During a concert, she was struck by an item that was thrown from the stage.”
The outlet says it's unclear whether the person who reported the incident was the one seen in the video or if it was someone else who was also hit by the microphone.

While you would think that would have been the whole situation cleared up, the microphone that was thrown managed to make its way onto eBay.
The company that supplied the Drais Beach Club at Vegas found the device and chucked it onto the selling and buying website to see what it could fetch.
Scott wrote on the listing: "I was encouraged to sell the mic but decided I would try to do something good. 100% of the profit from the sale of this mic will be evenly split among two charities."
The organizations are the Friendship Circle Las Vegas and the Wounded Warrior Project.
