Despite seemingly apologizing for feuding with other musicians, Eminem has brought up Machine Gun Kelly's name yet again.
Eminem's latest - and final? - album The Death of Slim Shady (Coup de Grâce) landed on July 12 and focuses on Eminem's alter-ego of Slim Shady, drawing on some controversies the 51-year-old has been involved with in the past, the album seemingly marking the rapper moving on from it all.
In the track 'Guilty Conscience 2', Eminem appears to argue with himself - or rather his alter ego, Slim Shady.

And the rapper specifically reflects on his past beef with other musicians, naming people such as: "Christopher, MGK, Nick, and for Limp Bizkit and them..."
Many fans took the song to be a sort of 'apology' 'to everyone [Eminem's] beefed with,' however, others saw it as a re-ignition of the drama.
However, in a later song on the album, titled 'Bad One', Eminem makes reference to Kelly again, rapping: "But I gotta keep going Tyson on Kelly / I bodied him twice and already / That little motherf***er's back throwing subs like a food fight at the deli."
"That Mgk diss was slick on 'Bad One' I can’t even lie Eminem will never stop beating on him," a Twitter user said.

Another added: "I don't get it, it seems like Eminem wanted to reconcile with u guys he f**ked with in the song Guilty Conscience 2. Then on Bad One he again hit on MGK."
And a promotional video for his album has only confused matters further.
In a video for Complex's July 2024 cover story, Eminem sat down with Slim Shady to 'face off' with his alter ego.

Towards the end of the battle, Slim starts going in on Mathers, calling him a 'fat boy' before then stating: "MGK f**ked your mother."
Mathers responded: "He did, but she's your mother too, you really need some help man."
So, is it a dig at MGK and another attempt to reignite the feud or is it a dig at his own alter-ego? Well, it's all left fans a bit puzzled.

One Twitter user said: "I don't understand this. At all. He's MGK's son? Wut?"
"I'm not listening to this album bcuz he is doing this," another added.
And another simply resolved: "So over this beef. Next!"
