Green Day has become one of many people in the United States capitalizing off Donald Trump's mugshot.
The ex-President travelled to the the state of Georgia last week to get his mugshot and fingerprints taken after he was indicted on charges related to trying to overturn the results of the 2020 election.
It didn't take long for people to start plastering the picture all over merchandise in the hope they can make a quick buck.

The legendary American rock band has also jumped on that bandwagon but they're doing it for a good reason.
They've repurposed the album artwork for Nimrod and had Trump's mugshot underneath the big yellow word.
While Nimrod 'is sometimes used in English to mean either a tyrant or a skillful hunter' due to the Bible, it's also used to refer to someone who is 'stupid or dimwitted'.
Green Day wrote on Instagram: "Good Riddance. The ultimate Nimrod shirt is available for 72 hours only. Limited edition shirt proceeds will be donated to T̶h̶e̶ ̶G̶i̶u̶l̶i̶a̶n̶i̶ ̶L̶e̶g̶a̶l̶ ̶D̶e̶f̶e̶n̶s̶e̶ ̶F̶u̶n̶d̶ @greatergoodmusiccharity, which brings food to those affected by the Maui wildfires."

While loads of people applauded Green Day for the move, it certainly sparked a lot of anger amongst some of the band's right-wing fans.
One wrote: "I got a Green Day tattoo and wish I sometimes did not. Back when they played music and wrote about life, love and hate. Now its all a narrative with politics."
Another added: "You guys could have easily made one of Biden and called him out on his lack of actual support for Hawaii but instead you're still riding the Orange Man Bad narrative because its the only way you can remain relevant? F right off."
A third said: "A band I used to consider educated and nuanced is now just another jump on the 'political headlines cliff notes make my opinion' bandwagon. Lame."

However, other fans have pointed out that Green Day haven't been fans of Donald Trump for a long time.
Back in 2019, they performed their iconic track 'American Idiot' at the iHeartRadio festival in Las Vegas.
However, lead singer Billie Joel Armstrong changed the lyrics ever so slightly to launch an attack on the then-President.
He sang 'I’m not part of a MAGA agenda' instead of 'I’m not part of a redneck agenda'.
