Madonna has revealed what her first word was after her 'near-death' experience last year.
Last June, it was widely reported that the 'Like a Virgin' singer had been taken to hospital with a serious bacterial infection and had ended up in intensive care.
A statement from her talent manager, Guy Oseary, at the time said: "On Saturday June 24, Madonna developed a serious bacterial infection which lead to a several day stay in the ICU.
"Her health is improving, however she is still under medical care. A full recovery is expected.

"At this time we will need to pause all commitments, which includes the tour.
"We will share more details with you soon as we have them, including a new start date for the tour and for rescheduled shows."
The days that followed were precarious for the singer, with a person allegedly close to Madonna and her family claiming that 'her family was preparing for the worst'.
"Everyone believed that we may lose her and that has been the reality of the situation," the family member told Mail Online.

And late last year, the singer opened up about her terrifying ordeal.
Speaking to the crowd, the 'Vogue' hitmaker said: "I want to say it was a crazy year for me as well. And I didn’t think I was gonna make it. Neither did my doctors. That’s why I woke up with all of my children sitting around me.
"I forgot five days of my life… or my death, I don’t really know where I was.

"But the angels were protecting me and my children were there. And my children always save me, every time."
Now, Madonna has been speaking further about her experience during her performance first Celebration Tour show in Los Angeles last Monday night (March 4).
During the show, the singer said: "This show every night is not really so hard on me physically. It’s hard on me emotionally because I’m really telling you the story of my life.

"My heart is on my sleeve. I’ve fallen off a lot of horses and broken a lot of bones… but nothing can stop me."
Madonna then went on to reveal the first word that she spoke when waking up from a coma.
According to the musician's assistant, the first thing she said upon waking up was 'No!'.
She explained: "I’m pretty sure that was God saying to me, "Do you want to come? Want to come up with me?"
