But have you ever thought about the meaning behind the singer's stage name?
While Pink has provided many explanations for her stage name over the years, there is one particular theory that has many of her fans shocked online.
A pretty simple explanation is that Pink is named as such due to the color of her hair, which would certainly make sense - but there's a more NSFW explanation out there, too.

The singer in fact took her name from Steve Buscemi's Mr. Pink character in Quentin Tarantino's Reservoir Dogs.
As reported by iOL in 2017, Pink said: "I've been receiving complaints for a very long time. I'm OK with it and for the other reason my name is Pink. That's inappropriate too.
"My best friend had never seen a white girl's vagina before so he asked me if I could see it, so I showed it to him and he said 'It's pink!' Then my friends started calling me Mr. Pink."
Funnily enough, Pink bumped into Buscemi back in 2000, and the interaction was a memorable one.

As per iOL, the singer recalled: "I actually ran into Steve Buscemi on the street in New York before my first album came out. I had these big f***ing Elton John sunglasses on, pink hair and carried a Pink Panther toy.
"I went, 'Steve! Mr. Pink! I'm Pink! Because of you! I'm going to have an album and you're going to know who I am.' And he was like, 'What the f**k lady?' and just ran away from me. I've never met him since. He was scared s**tless of me. Sorry Steve!"

After discovering that meaning, one fan summed it all up by saying: "And I thought all along it was her pink hair."

The surprising meaning is actually not the only provided by Pink in the past, as she explained a different one during an appearance on The Rosie O'Donnell Show in 2011.
"It's a nickname [I got from] YMCA. I used to go to camp there and this boy I had a crush on pulled my pants down in front of everybody," she said.
"It's really hard to embarrass me so it became a mission for people.
"I turned pink and everybody was like 'oh look at her she's pink!'"
