Scooter Braun has given his response following reports of two of the music world's biggest stars leaving his management.
The music executive has quite the stable of talented artists, with the likes of Justin Bieber, David Guetta, the Black Eyed Peas and Carly Rae Jepsen under his charge.
That group might have grown a little smaller in recent days though, according to reports which claim that Ariana Grande and Demi Lovato have both left his company SB Projects and are seeking new management.

There had been claims that it had been Bieber who was seeking an escape from Scooter Braun, having been signed with him since 2008, but the music star's representatives denied it was him who was looking to leave.
Instead, it has been reported that he faces the double-whammy of Grande and Lovato's departures, losing two music stars he's worked with for years.
Grande signed with Braun back in 2013 and if she has left, it brings an end to 10 years of working together, while Lovato joined in 2019 and would be closing the book on four years of his management if she left.

At the time the 'Sorry Not Sorry' singer said 'dreams came true' and described Braun as 'the one and only', but she might now be looking for a new one and only.
Braun for his part recently posted a joke about the reports that two of his biggest stars had walked away to Twitter, saying: "Breaking news... I'm no longer managing myself."
His tweet has been what the kids these days call 'ratioed', with a reply saying 'we're laughing at you not with you' gaining thousands more likes than his initial post.

There have also been plenty of people replying or quoting his post to slam Braun, with someone saying he was 'losing the idgaf war bad' and another saying he was 'the butt of the joke not the comedian'.
Many others posted pictures and GIFs of Taylor Swift, a reference to Braun selling the masters of her original music to a private equity firm, leading her to re-release all of her music so she'd actually own it herself.
Braun had bought her former record label in 2019 and sold off the masters of Swift's music in 2020, with the singer saying the master recordings of her own songs 'were not for sale to me'.
Given the response to his joke, it appears as though there are many who are not seeing the funny side.

The moral of the story appears to be never to mess with the Swifties, there are absolutely loads of them.
