Never underestimate the power of the Swifties, eh? Taylor Swift has officially reached billionaire status after the roaring success of her Eras Tour.
Swift's current worldwide tour has been the talk of the town - perhaps evident by the amount of money it is bringing in.
It is now being predicted that the tour will make a whopping $4.1 billion, which is, in fact, the most that any artist has made from one tour in history.
Peter Cohan, an associate professor of management at Babson College, made the rather unbelievable estimate recently for The Washington Post, as Eras Tour looks to break many records.

In fact, Swift's earnings from the tour are set to be more than 42 nations' yearly economic output.
And now, Bloomberg is reporting Swift has officially reached billionaire status - 17 years after she first began her music career.
The 'Shake It Off' singer has now joined an elusive club, which includes the likes of Kim Kardashian and Oprah Winfrey.

Bloomberg state that her rise in financial wealth is part in due to the success of Eras Tour, which has been described by the publication as a 'Super Bowl-sized event that has spread across the entire globe', shattering many records.
According to a Bloomberg News analysis, Swift is one of few entertainers to reach past a $1 billion worth from just music and performing alone - as well as some pretty good marketing.
The report also credits Swift's 'prolific' songwriting, stating that her first six albums have 'created massive financial success at a time when a lot of musicians have lost clout in the industry'.
While she may just be one individual, however, her brand is basically a multinational conglomerate, which the outlet says is holstered by the 'close relationship' she has fostered with 'millions of her ardent fans'.

Carolyn Sloane, a labor economist at the University of Chicago, told Bloomberg: "In addition to being a generational talent, Taylor Swift is a great economist.
"Taylor has great ideas, is able to scale her ideas and seems to be pretty risk-seeking."
At this moment in time, Swift can't stop breaking records as her Eras Tour film broke box office records in its opening weekend.

In North America, it took some $92.8 million, and then $30.7 million internationally.
This meant that the total for the film was $123.5 million globally.
Not bad considering this isn't even the tour itself, rather just the film of the tour.
The new concert film has even made it as far as receiving from the one and only Christopher Nolan, who complimented Swift for bypassing studios to work directly with AMC Theatres to distribute the film.
