There’s very little Swifties wouldn’t do for tour tickets.
Securing tickets for the Eras Tour - recently named the highest-grossing tour of all time - continues to be notoriously difficult, with some fans spending thousands just to see the ‘Cruel Summer’ singer perform live.
Proud Swiftie Rebecca Smedley did just that after finally securing tickets ‘after trying since day one’ but ended up broken-hearted after a ‘glitch’ with her online account.

Smedley coughed up NZ $351.78 (US $215) each for two tickets from Aussie company Ticketek to see Swift, plus an NZ $17.95 (US $10.99) service fee and an NZ $14.85 ($9) ticket reissue fee - setting her back a grand total of NZ $736.36 (US $451.08).
However, while fans around the world shared their VIP Packages, Rebecca started to panic.
She said: “When everyone started receiving their VIP packages and I hadn’t, I was starting to get a little bit worried."

After checking her online Ticketek account, the 21-year-old said that her ticket had ‘completely disappeared.’
In a TikTok video, Rebecca told of how she tried to get through to the company helpline for hours, and with no answer, her mother went into the city Ticketek office on her daughter’s behalf to get some answers.
She shared in the TikTok clip: “No ticket was showing up anywhere for me, it wasn’t coming back.
“They said: ‘Sorry, this ticket glitched out of your account, it was re-listed for sale out of your account and someone else has it, we don’t know who, we can’t check, we can’t track who has your ticket’.

“All they could do was issue me a refund, I essentially had my ticket stolen from me.
“It’s scary to know our accounts aren’t secure enough to hold our tickets once they’ve been purchased.”
After Rebecca shared her story on TikTok, many music lovers were shocked this could happen.

One said: "I’m so sorry this has happened. The sad thing is the other person who bought your ‘glitched’ ticket would have no idea either."
Another said: "That is just ridiculous!! I’m so sorry. Aus/NZ swifties are going through hell to try get tickets. She should’ve done more shows!!!"
After gaining such attraction online, a spokesman for Ticketek was eager to smooth things over, telling the Today show: “Ticketek apologies to Rebecca for any confusion. We can assure Rebecca that she now has tickets in her account.”
Ticketek then upgraded her ticket as a gesture of goodwill, which Ms Smedley described as a ‘special thing to do'.
