Taylor Swift has written herself into the history books once again.
In 2023 alone, she became the first woman to have four albums in Billboard chart top 10 simultaneously, the most number one albums by a woman in history, the most streamed country album in a single day on Spotify, the first woman with new number one albums in five consecutive years, the second most Hot 100-charting songs ever, the first woman with simultaneous top 10 songs from three albums, the second biggest vinyl sales week of modern times, and the most attended concert by a female artist in the US.
Yes, it's been a big year for the pop star.

However, now she can add another glittering title to that very stacked trophy cabinet.
She has become the first female artist in history to have more than 100 million monthly listeners on Spotify.
According to the streaming service, there are 100,139,727 people who listen to her music around the world in a month.

Swift is miles ahead of her nearest competitors.
Dua Lipa has 77.1 million monthly listeners while Rihanna attracts 75 million accounts per month and Billie Eilish has 72.2 million.
She's now hot on the heels of the most listened to artist on the platform, which is The Weeknd on 109.6 million monthly listeners.
Taylor could also break a fairly phenomenal record once her Eras Tour is all wrapped up.

As reported by CNN, the North American leg of the tour could gross $2.2 billion alone.
That figure includes the round of shows the 'Anti-Hero' singer just concluded in Los Angeles, and the shows coming up next year.
According to data from QuestionPro, the average attendance per show was 72,459 and the average price of pre-sale and first sale tickets was $455.78.

The brings the total to $2.2 billion, smashing the previous record held by Elton John's Farewell Yellow Brick Road tour, which grossed over $887 million between 2018 and 2023.
But it's not just ticket sales; Swift's tour has seen money flow into the local economy of every city she's visited so far.
"Taylor Swift’s ‘Eras’ tour is rewriting the playbook of entertainment economics,” said Chris Leyden, director of growth marketing at SeatGeek told CNN.
“She’s not just a performer — she’s an economic phenomenon.”
