Nicki Minaj has addressed her wardrobe malfunction at this year's Met Gala.
The 2022 event saw famous attendees from across the world turning up in 'Gilded Glamour and White Tie', off the back of Andrew Bolton’s two-part exhibition 'In America: An Anthology of Fashion'.
Think ruffles, puffy shoulders and fashion in the flair of The Age of Innocence. Minaj's outfit was praised by fans and critics – unfortunately, she did suffer a small malfunction on the red carpet.
Not dissimilar – but evidently better – than Kylie Jenner's turnout, Minaj wore a strapless black ball gown surrounded by feathers, designed by Burberry’s Riccardo Tisci, as well as a baseball cap.

In photos, the 'Super Bass' singer can be seen posing strategically with a hand across her chest. This is because the dress kept slipping down.
Speaking to La La Anthony, who was hosting the event for Vogue, Minaj said: "The only unplanned thing about my look is that my boobs [are] popping out. Because they made my cup size a little small."
Anthony then joked that the dress was designed before she had her baby in 2020 with husband Kenneth Petty. Minaj agreed and joked: "Enjoy these titties, because you won’t ever see them again."

While laughing about the malfunction, Minaj heaped praise on her designer, particularly for the hat.
She said: "I’m here with my baby, Ricardo. I love Ricardo, that’s really my friend. So I’m here supporting him, that’s all. But I love the hat.
"I’m obsessed with the hat. I didn’t wanna do the look if I couldn’t do the hat. So, he let me wear the hat."

As for the jewels across her body, Minaj admitted she wasn't the biggest fan of the process, but felt 'honoured' to wear Tisci's design and praised makeup artist Pat McGrath and her team.
She said: "You know I don’t like to sit, I’m so impatient, but everything’s for Ricardo. [McGrath’s] whole team did such an amazing job, and I was honoured."
Minaj wasn't expected to appear at the Met Gala, given her previous rejection due to the event's vaccination requirements.
She previously tweeted: "They want you to get vaccinated for the Met. If I get vaccinated it won’t [be] for the Met. It’ll be once I feel I’ve done enough research. I’m working on that now.

"In the meantime my loves, be safe. Wear the mask with two strings that grips your head & face. Not that loose one.”
