Taylor Swift is officially the second richest self-made woman in music, but she's still a long way off from taking the top spot.

Of course, Swift is the talk of the world at the moment with her currently being in the middle of her worldwide Eras tour and making headlines over her latest rumoured love interest.

There is, of course, no denying that the 'Bad Blood' singer is earning a pretty comfortable wage doing what she does - but it turns out her net worth is now more than just comfortable, to say the least!

The 33-year-old singer has an estimated net worth of $740 million, according to Forbes' 2023 list of America's Richest Self-Made Women, putting her ahead of music titans such as Madonna and Beyoncé.

Madonna and Beyoncé aren't doing too badly themselves, however, with their net worths being reported at $580 million and $540 million respectively.

Swift's impressive ranking makes her the 34th richest self-made woman in the US, putting her behind the likes of Oprah Winfrey ($2.5 billion), who came in 13th place.

Ironically, 13 is Swift's lucky number.

It's imagined that Swift's net worth is set to grow even further as she is still in the midst of her Eras Tour. But who has beaten Swift to the title of richest woman in music?

None other than Bad Gal RiRi herself.

Thanks to Rihanna's extensive discography and Fenty Beauty makeup company, RiRi has netted herself a cool $1.4 billion net worth.

This is double Swift's, for anyone keeping track at home.

Thanks to this eye watering figure, Rihanna was comfortably positioned as the 20th richest self-made woman in America overall.

And if her recent social media output is anything to go by, the 'B**ch Better Have My Money' singer is enjoying living the lavish life.

She recently shared a TikTok showing off her diamond toe ring, which is estimated to cost $600,000.

All that money for something that will go on your feet? Celebrities...

The fashion conscious singer also spared no expense at a secret fitting for her Met Gala look, which allegedly involved $25 million worth of Cartier jewels.

Behold - the world's richest self-made woman in music.

Other famous faces included on the list of richest women included Ellen DeGeneres, who appeared towards the end of the list with a respectable net worth of $380 million, alongside tennis star Serena Williams who was worth $290 million.

The coveted number one spot went to Diane Hendricks, the co-founder of ABC Supply, one of the largest distributors of roofing, siding and windows in America.

With over 900 branches and a revenue of $18.5 billion, it's no surprise that Hendricks is estimated to be worth an eye watering $15 billion.
