Streamer and OnlyFans model Amouranth has said that she would be supportive of her future daughter if she decided to start an OnlyFans page.
Amouranth - real name Kaitlyn Siragusa - has herself made a killing off the platforms, raking in tens of thousands of dollars. Extraordinarily this even includes doing so-called 'sleep streams' where people pay to watch a stream of her asleep.

The streamer has used her earnings to invest in numerous ventures, including gas stations and companies. Now, she has expressed her resounding support for a future daughter if she decided to do the same thing.
She made the claim during an appearance on The Iced Coffee Hour podcast, saying she would 'definitely be comfortable' with her daughter doing OnlyFans.
And the streamer had a ready list of reasons why she would support her daughter in the venture.

She said: “She can do it from the comfort of her own home, she’s not having to go out and put herself in weird situations, to try to make money."
Amouranth went on to argue that the job could allow her to have more control over her own boundaries and what she feels comfortable with.
She said: “Whatever she’s comfortable with, in the power of her own home with whoever is consenting and she gets to decide that. I think that’s awesome.
“It gives her the power to do it anywhere she wants without having to feel like she’s a slave to the 9-5 grind that the rest of society often gets sucked into.”

Nonetheless, she did say that it would be important to ensure that her daughter's identity is protected online - Amouranth herself has had a number of stalkers since beginning her online career.
The number of OnlyFans accounts exploded during the Covid-19 lockdown, when people were furloughed from the employed or lost their job altogether. Despite the tempting prospect of thousands of dollars' worth of earnings, the reality is that creating enough content to keep people interested is a difficult full-time job.
The platform can offer creators a large degree of independence and control over their lives.

Nonetheless, there are downsides. Many people also feel pressured to go beyond their comfort zone in order to keep people subscribing, going further than they might originally have intended.
Despite online sex work being considered safer than in-person sex work, there are still risks associated with it.
Amouranth has had to deal with stalkers or people trying to publish her information online, and online harassment is endemic.
There is also the social stigmatisation that sex workers unfortunately still face. For people who don't make thousands from the platform, this could have an impact when looking for a different job even after retiring from sex work.

It's also worth remembering that once an image is on the internet, it's on there forever.
