Barack Obama seemed half ready to start a hip-hop concert at a Kamala Harris rally as he performed an Eminem verse on stage.
The former US President had people jumping out of their seats during a rally in Detroit, Michigan, on October 22 and not for the usual reasons.
Who knew Barack Obama could command a crowd so well and was such a good public speaker, eh?

While the audience and Obama were there to endorse presidential hopeful, Kamala Harris, there was also another surprising supporter, rapper and music legend Eminem.
Things took quite an interesting turn when the rapper introduced Obama who admitted he was a bit nervous, something you wouldn’t expect from quite an impressive orator.
He said: “I have got to say, I have done a lot of rallys so I don’t usually get nervous.

“But I was feeling some kind of way following Eminem."
It was here that Obama took to performing a few bars from Eminem's 2002 hit, Lose Yourself.
He continued: “I noticed, my palms were sweaty, knees weak, arms are heavy, vomit on my sweater already, mom’s spaghetti.
“I’m nervous but on the surface, I look calm ready to drop bombs, but I keep on forgetting.”
Obama then waved his hands at the crowd and stepped away from the podium, only to return only to acapella the beat on the mic.

He joked that he would have jumped out if the rapper was going to perform since he ‘loves him some Eminem.’
As you can imagine, people on social media went nuts with the impromptu performance.
Writing on Twitter one fan wrote: “We are living in a simulation, dawg. You can’t tell me otherwise. This is why Eminem is the GOAT.”

Another commented: “I would’ve loved to have seen Eminem’s face while he was doing that!”
With a third writing: “2 goats showing each other respect. That's iconic asf.”
As another person wrote: "I knew Barack couldn't resist rappin w Em there."
Eminem is one of the latest musicians to endorse Kamala Harris for the upcoming election and spoke at the rally before introducing Obama.

“Going into this election, the spotlight is on us more than ever and I think it is important to use your voice. So I am encouraging everybody to get out and vote please.
"I also think that people shouldn’t be afraid to express their opinions and I don’t think people wants an America where people are worried about retribution or what people will do if you let your opinion known.
“I think Vice President Harris supports a future for this country where these freedoms and many others will be protected and upheld.”
