Chris Brown has been sued for $20 million by a woman who claims she was sexually assaulted by the singer in 2020.

The accuser, who has been identified only as 'Jane Doe', has alleged that Brown raped her outside Diddy's home on Miami's Star Island after she arrived at the property on December 20, 2020.

She had reportedly been speaking to a friend via FaceTime when Brown grabbed the phone and told her to come to Miami, after which she met Brown on a yacht parked at Diddy's home.

On board the yacht, Brown allegedly asked 'Jane' if she wanted a drink, which she accepted. In the lawsuit, cited by TMZ, the woman claims she followed Brown into the kitchen area, where she was handed a mixed drink in a red cup.

It was after being given a refill of the drink that the woman, who describes herself as a model, choreographer and musical artist, claimed to experience a 'sudden, unexplained change in consciousness'. She described how she was 'disoriented, physically unstable, and started to fall in and out of sleep', after which Brown is accused of taking her to a bedroom and refusing to let her leave.

Claiming she had been 'drugged', the woman says Brown removed the bottom of her bikini and began kissing her while ignoring her pleas to stop. He is said to have proceeded to rape her and ejaculated inside her before standing and telling her he was 'done'.

The following day, Brown is accused of contacting 'Jane' and demanding that she take a Plan B morning-after pill as emergency contraception. The woman claims to have followed the instructions without reporting the incident to authorities.

Her attorneys, Ariel Mitchell and George Vrabeck, claim she didn’t go to police because she was embarrassed. The lawyers have stressed they're 'committed to victims being heard', and are urging anyone who may have information about the case to contact them.

The woman is seeking $20 million in damages from Brown for the emotional stress caused by the alleged attack. Neither Brown nor his representatives appear to have publicly responded to the allegations at the time of writing, January 28.
