A clip where Joe Biden said getting the Covid-19 vaccine will stop you from contracting the virus has resurfaced after the US President tested positive for coronavirus.
During a CNN Town Hall in July last year, Biden said: "You’re not going to get Covid if you have these vaccinations.
He also said: "If you’re vaccinated, you’re not going to be hospitalised, you’re not going to be in the ICU unit, and you’re not going to die."
The President of the United States has received four Covid-19 vaccines.

The first two were part of the plan to be fully immunised and the second two were booster shots aimed at increasing Biden's immunity.
The Covid-19 vaccine was never designed to 'prevent' you from getting the virus.
The ones specifically created to fight the coronavirus 'help prevent people from getting severely ill or dying' from Covid-19.
The Australian government's website states: "The vaccines train your immune system to recognise and clear out the virus, before it makes you seriously ill.

"Your body's immune system builds this protection over time.
"To receive the best protection against serious illness or death from Covid-19, you should stay up to date with all vaccinations recommended for your age or individual health needs."
There's no denying that Joe Biden saying the vaccine will prevent you from getting the virus is wrong.

Snopes even fact-checked the US President and said he 'overstated the efficacy of Covid-19 vaccinations'.
However, it's still vitally important for everyone to get the jab to decrease their risk of getting sick from Covid-19.
In a video posted to social media, Joe Biden said he was doing okay since testing positive for the virus.
“Hey folks, guess you heard. This morning I tested positive for Covid,” he said.
“I really appreciate your inquiries and concerns. But I’m doing well and I’m continuing to get a lot of work done.

“Keep the faith, it’s going to be OK."
White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre said he's only suffering mild symptoms at the moment.
"He is fully vaccinated and twice boosted and experiencing very mild symptoms. He has begun taking Paxlovid," Jean-Pierre said.
"Consistent with CDC guidelines, he will isolate at the White House and will continue to carry out all of his duties fully during that time."
