A couple with a 19-year age gap have responded to accusations that the girlfriend fell for her partner because she has 'daddy issues'.
As a model, trainer and self-described 'silver fox', 44-year-old Michael Justin has attracted almost 900,000 followers on TikTok, where fans have dubbed him 'handsome', 'fine' and 'hot'.
Evidently, Justin has a lot of admirers, but it's the one person he's actually in a relationship with who has come under fire for her choice of partner, with some social media users suggesting Michael's girlfriend, Emily, is motivated by more than just who he is as a person.

Hear the couple respond to such accusations below:
Emily is 25 years old, making her 19 years younger than Michael. The pair crossed paths at a yoga class and have since formed a serious relationship, with both sets of parents said to 'love the other and support the relationship'.
The couple appear to play into their age gap with the hashtags 'age gap', 'age gap couple' and 'age gap relationships' used on videos, but Emily has assured viewers she doesn't have any lingering 'issues' that led her to fall for Michael.

In response to one TikTok user who accused Emily of having 'daddy issues', Michael said the accusation is one he hears 'a lot'. The 25-year-old agreed with him but made clear there were 'no daddy issues here', adding: 'Michael's just really attractive, very sweet to me – I have a great relationship with my dad... Michael just happens to be older than me.'
In a video 'revealing' Michael to her followers, Emily, who works as a nurse, explained that 'his grey hair is [her] fave', and advised her followers not to let others 'tell you what's 'right' or 'wrong',' urging them to 'follow your heart'.

Though the couple has received some criticisms for their age gap, other followers have made sure to voice their support by writing comments to describe the couple as 'beautiful'.
One TikToker wrote: 'My husband and I really enjoy seeing y’all together. We have the same age difference and we really admire it and you look great together we love it!'
Another commented: 'She’s fine y’all. Her man is fire. Age ain’t nothing but a number.'
The pair first started posting videos together in 2020, with their affection for one another seemingly remaining just as strong two years on.
