Couple's Strange Choice Of Wedding Cake Goes Viral

Wedding planning can be stressful and strange decisions might be made, but one couple's choice takes the cake, literally.

Shared to Reddit with little explanation, one couple's cake choice has caused a fair amount of controversy.

Well, proving there's a more controversial choice than carrot, this couple got a literal Donald Trump wedding cake.

Photos of the cake on Reddit were captioned: "I don't care what your political views are, this is stupid as hell for a wedding cake."

And, as you can imagine, people had pretty violent reactions to the cake that showed Trump's head coming out of an American flag.

One user wrote: "I'm not a Trump supporter but there are still people I admire. I'd make my wedding cake into the likeness of none of them because that is b*****t and weird. Do these people ever have moments of clarity? Like do they step back and wonder how they came to a decision like this?"

Yep, 'b*****t and weird' is exactly what every couple wants to hear about their wedding cake.

Meanwhile, another assured that the founding fathers wouldn't make their icing debut any time soon: "Hell, forget the lame recent Presidents, no one in their right mind's going to pick FDR or Lincoln or Washington for a wedding cake. This whole cult of personality around Trump is the weirdest thing we've seen in this country in a looong time. Maybe ever."

A third replied: "You only think that way because you're not in a cult. These people, and all of the other MAGA people, are absolutely a cult."

They followed up by adding: "On top of that, it doesn't even look like him. It's not nearly orange enough or blubbery enough. It actually looks more like Hilary. If it wasn't for the MAGA hat I wouldn't know who that cake was supposed to resemble."

We'd honestly rather not see any politician on a wedding cake but there you have it.

Others were just curious about the cake's actual flavour, saying: "What if the cake is red velvet? Hahahaha."
